Sam joins Notable on the heels of launching "Long Play," her unique, web-based art & music installation that features exclusive recordings, short films, original essays, her interviewing other artists from sundry fields of endeavor, photography, art and other exclusive material.

Sam Phillips is a songwriter and singer from Los Angeles, California. After releasing seven solo albums and seven years of scoring the Gilmore Girls television show, Sam has inaugurated a year of music called "Long Play." She began writing, recording and releasing a series of five EPs as of October 2009 and ends in October 2010 with a full-length album while documenting the process through essays, video, audio, artwork, as well as any other certified reality-escaping techniques.
