London born and raised Song Lyricist Paul Robert Thomas, a former London Policeman who beat the Police in court for their racist treatment of him and who then moved to Israel with his family, has teamed up with the Israeli husband and wife duo of Composer Ofer Hamerman and Vocalist Orly Vardy to produce a album of 11 original songs entitled ‘A Million Love Songs’ at Ofer’s SPS Studio’s in Tel-Aviv using Paul’s lyrics.
The album was recorded over a 4 year period using some of the country’s best and well known musicians to produce an album of stunning songs many of which are already well known on UK radio where, on one of which Orly was voted as their ‘Artist of the Year’ by their listeners. On one UK radio station the owner unfortunately suddenly died and his family’s request was fulfilled when a song from the album, ‘See the Stars Tonight’ was played at his funeral.
A Facebook page has just been created for the album at https://www.facebook.com/AMillionLoveSongs and an article was recently published in Talent Spotlight Magazine about the history of the recording of 'A Million Love Songs' at http://talentspotlightmagazine.net/2012/03/orly-vardy-releases-international-cd-a-million-love-songs and a music site for the album has been opened at http://www.reverbnation.com/amillionlovesongs where people can hear samples of the songs and can order pre-release copies of the album too.
‘A Million Love Songs’ is a professionally recorded and produced album containing 11 superb songs that deserve to be heard by many people and Paul, Ofer and Orly are doing all they can to have the album placed with a record company/label but in the meantime are determined to get the songs out for people to hear as best they can.
