Website: http://www.BonnerBlack.com/ (Nashville, TN) Continuing to build a support system across the nation, NSAI’s Executive Director Bart Herbison and up and coming singer/songwriter Bonner Black return from another successful trip to Washington, DC. While in DC, Bonner spoke and played original material for over 60 congressmen, senators and their staff to raise awareness for the creative rights of songwriters.
Bonner has been an active member of NSAI for three years, tirelessly honing her craft and love of songwriting. At a young age of 16, she is already making waves in Nashville having completed her first full album containing purely original material.
“It’s an honor to work with all of the great people at NSAI,” said Bonner. “Their passion for songwriter’s rights is infectious and I truly believe we are making an impact on all of the great folks in D.C.!”
The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) is the world’s largest not-for-profit songwriters trade association. Established in 1967, the membership of more than 5,000 active and pro members spans the United States and six other countries. NSAI is dedicated to protecting the rights of and serving aspiring and professional songwriters in all genres of music.
