Peermusic Signs Songwriter Michael Tyler To Roster
Peermusic is proud to announce the addition of 18 year old singer/songwriter Michael Tyler to the roster. Tyler was discovered by peermusic Senior Creative Director Michael Knox two years ago while searching some Internet music sites, the two have worked together in an artist development capacity since then.
A native of Thayer, Missouri, Tyler is a self-taught musician who first began performing at age 13 with his brother Ryan.
"I'm very excited to have Michael join the family here at peermusic," said Michael Knox, Producer/Sr. Creative Director/ peermusic Nashville. "I can't wait to get into the studio with him. I haven't heard a singer/songwriter like him in a long time."
"Michael is talented all the way around – he's a great writer of both melodies and lyrics, and he's a really good singer. I'm really looking forward to hearing what he and Knox come up with in the studio,"added Kevin Lamb, Vice President/ peermusic Nashville.
Tyler joins peermusic's long list of talented writers including, Neil Thrasher, Vicky McGehee and Rachel Farley.
