PHIL HAMILTON’S NEW SINGLE “RUNNING,” OFF TO FAST START NEWS FANS ARE DISCOVERING BLUESY/COUNTRY SOUND THIS SUMMER August 10, 2012 (Fort Worth, TX) – Phil Hamilton is having the hottest summer of his music career. He celebrated his first number one, “Bad,” at the beginning of the June. “Running,” the third single from his album RENEGADE ROCK N’ROLL, was just released to radio. The single has sprinted up the charts much faster than his previous songs. Phil has taken his show to new places like Phoenix, the Dominican Republic and Nashville this summer gaining new fans everywhere he plays. The inspiration for “Running,” came after a long day of recording RENEGADE ROCK N’ROLL with producer Beau Bedford. “I kept thinking about past relationships and why they end,” explains Hamilton. “It came to me that most relationships end because the other person really doesn’t know how the other one feels. The next day Beau and I kicked around the topic and four hours later “Running,” was written and laid down.” Phil’s sophomore release, RENEGADE ROCK N’ROLL is experiencing success across the country with sales in all 50 states and overseas. The album is available on iTunes and at www.PhilHamiltonMusic.com. Fans will enjoy the blues, rock and Country sound mixed together that give Phil Hamilton his distinctive sound. Phil is on a mission to take his music to places that he hasn’t played before.
