Seminar speakers include Valerie Geller, Jeff James, Beth and Matt Sunshine; more to be announced

(Nashville, Tenn. – Sept. 24, 2012) Country Radio Seminar has unveiled a preview of its 2013 agenda, with an emphasis on offering attendees even more prominent industry experts next year, including a new, featured daily speaker initiative.

Highlighted by a strong focus on technology, social media and learning to adapt in an ever-changing marketplace, the CRS 2013 agenda is loaded with expert panelists, informative research and more industry-leading speakers than ever before.  Early confirmed speakers include broadcast consultant and talent coach Valerie Geller (Geller Media International), brand management and social media marketing pro Jeff James and talent experts from The Center For Sales Strategy, Beth and Matt Sunshine.

For the first time, CRS is introducing a new initiative that presents a different, featured speaker each morning.  Each presentation will be given a priority time slot during the seminar when no other panels or events are being held.  The CRS 2013 keynote speaker and the daily, featured speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

The agenda and select panel descriptions below are available online at www.CountryRadioSeminar.com:

“The Secrets Of Developing Talent Across All Platforms” (Valerie Geller)
Today’s radio pros need to grow audiences on the air, on the web and in the social media landscape, and leading talent coach Valerie Geller will address how to accomplish those goals.   Whether you’re a manager, a programmer or talent, Valerie can identify the winning strategies you’ll need to increase ratings and revenue in 2013’s multi-platform media universe.   Valerie Geller is an internationally acclaimed broadcast consultant working with stations and personalities in all formats. (www.GellerMedia.com)

“Don’t Just Socialize, Monetize” (Jeff James)
With 25 percent of marketing budgets shifting to social media and content marketing, today's business leaders are searching for ways to drive revenue using these unique tools.  Based on first-hand experience, Jeff James shares the challenges and opportunities that broadcasters face in today’s 24/7, customer engagement driven world and lays the foundation so that their advertisers and clients can leverage convergence marketing to grow the bottom line. “Coaching Sales Talent: Managing Gen Y and The Next Gen” (Beth Sunshine)
Beth will teach you how to manage, coach, and develop digital “natives.”  Next Gen and Gen Y think differently and want to be managed differently.  This panel will instruct you on how to give effective feedback, how to communicate, and how to understand their goals and what teamwork means to these two generations. (www.TheCenterForSalesStrategy.com)

“Brainstorming & Marketing Strategy Model” (Matt Sunshine)
Matt will share effective techniques to develop compelling ideas for advertisers and to help them determine their core target, positioning and strategies.  The goal of this panel will be for you to go back to your station and help YOUR clients and YOUR station identify real targets and how to fully execute their marketing campaign.  (www.TheCenterForSalesStrategy.com)

More agenda details will be announced in the coming weeks.  CRS 2013 is held Feb. 27 – March 1, 2013, in downtown Nashville, Tenn., at the Nashville Convention Center.  Visit www.CountryRadioSeminar.com for more information.
