STFU Radio Takes On Halloween With Rockers Oblivious Signal And Mighty Quinn
STFU Radio takes on Halloween with rockers Oblivious Signal and Mighty Quinn Halloween weekend is the well established party weekend of the year in the rock world. Live rock music and All Hollow’s Eve have always gone hand in bloody, goulish, or gloved hand. Friday Night, October 26th Oblivious Signal treats you to the kind of night this holiday was meant to be. The untamable Lizzy Q and Rodney of STFU Radio host a costume contest with over $1000 in cash and prizes provided by the show and by Player’s Club. First place will be awarded a $500 cash prize, judged by a panel of costumery experts also known as band members, DJs and hot bartenders. The top ten will be picked by the judges, with crowd support choosing the winners in an on-stage parade of ghoulishness, sexiness, and creativity. Additional prizes will be awarded to the most original male and most original female contestants. Rodney says this event "will be the party that everyone will talk about for months... In addition to all of this, STFU's favorite band, Oblivious Signal, will perform... Oblivious Signal and STFU with Rodney & Lizzy Q have a special bond. They will perform many of their great songs including "The Inflicted Shame", as heard on the STFU podcast.” The new STFU Radio show brought female fronted Oblivious Signal on to play the Halloween Party after their spirited interview on the podcast a few weeks ago, making them a the most popular guests on the show thus far. Oblivious Signal plans to break out the new single Push Me Away being recorded this week at Bieler Brother’s Studios and the second single Retribution, being recorded in Florida’s Queen of Rock Cristina Feliciano’s private studio by the frontwoman herself. Popular cover band The Mighty Quinn will play sets throughout the night and help with the judging. Costume contest participants must register by 11pm to be eligible. A ‘traditional’ holiday food buffet will be provided to all guests as they celebrate with $3 shot and beer specials including the increasingly popular ‘sex on your face’ shot. Lizzy Q promises that there will be "lots of ladies dressed to impress the boys", which undoubtedly includes the hostess herself.
