MELISSA BROOKE IS HEADED TO LAS VEGAS TO PERFORM
DURING THE WRANGLER NATIONAL FINALS RODEO
FORT WORTH, TX (December 4, 2012) – Melissa Brooke is planning for an exciting trip to Las Vegas next week as the city becomes “Cowboy Town,” during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. “It’s a dream come true to get to go to NFR and perform,” said the Texas cowgirl, “I also get to celebrate turning 19 in the bright lights of the strip which will be a blast.”
“Texas Rubye,” is her current single that is climbing the Texas Music Charts. It tells the story of a barrel racer, who likes to ride fast and have fun with all the cowboys. Melissa grew up riding barrels, breaking horses and is currently learning to team rope. She went into the studio to cut her own version of Chris Ledoux’s classic “Cadillac Cowboy." Brooke's version resulted in some cowgirl soul and spunk infused into her vocal rendition for a new generation of rodeo fans to enjoy.
“This is my first time to sing on stage outside of Texas,” said Melissa, “I’m nervous, but I hope I will gain new fans in Las Vegas next week.” Rodeo goers can see her live at the following places listed below.

3. Friday, December 14, 2012 – 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
