East Texas Cowboy Mark Cooke Strikes A Chord With Country Radio
Cotton Valley Records (CVR) country tunesmith Mark Cooke wraps up a successful 2012 with the momentum he is receiving on his current radio release, “Stay With Me Tonight.” Cooke is receiving rave reviews from critics and radio about this love ballad tune which shows off his softer, sentimental side. “…nothing on the record is less than strongly made and if you were looking for a new artist to keep track of; you may have found him in Mark Cooke. This talented crooner is produced by music veterans J. Gary Smith and John Smith. Smith and Smith are respected industry insiders that assisted in developing the careers of Lonestar, Andy Griggs, Darryl Singletary and Mindy McCready. J. Gary Smith has also scored motion pictures with legend Jerry Reed and Showtime cable series as well as projects for Johnny Cash, John Rich, Waylon Jennings and the Little River Band to name a few.
