James Murphy AKA Dj Jim-Funk was born 9-17-1984 in Ft.
Walton beach Fl. He grew up in the Rock industry and followed many bands. He's been in music since he was 11 when he started drumming for Rosenwald Middle School marching band. He played in band all the way through the his senior year at Rutherford High school and had a special interest in music theory. He's been a DJ since the age of 15 with his sister bringing the interest of dance music to him. After his first DJ scratch show he became hooked. He then began playing almost all
genre's of music but, specializes in EDM, Hiphop, Trap, Breakbeats, Trance, DubStep, and House. He has also been producing since the age of 18 professionally and DJ in clubs like Club La Vela, Swamp, Rock Star, NightTown, House of Blues, and many more. He was on the record label Lab Man
Records from the years of 2002-2005 and now has moved to Producing independently and looking for new label family to join. To the date he continues to produce mainly EDM Trap or
TrapStep style music and continues to be the main producer for Ace High Ent. that specializes in Rap and Hip Hop music. He is one of the most well rounded DJ's and producers in the pan handle of Florida and continues to bring the funk merging noise to music.
