A genre described as a mixture of classical instrumentation with modern upbeat electronic or digital beats. Alicia’s musical influences include new age artists like Enya, Enigma and great classical composers like Mozart and Beethoven. Like Her title, she truly poured her heart and soul being involved in every aspect of the album from composing the music to designing the cover art. Alicia has always had an undying passion for music whether it was on stage participating as a choral singer in both school and church events or behind the scenes writing song lyrics or poetry. Asides from writing music, she felt that she needed to develop her skills further by composing music to accompany her lyrics and so she began self-teaching herself through many online programs and digital music maker software . What began as a musical experiment in her home studio 8 months ago became a 14 track CD of enchanting and soothing melodies; fun and memorable upbeat tempos and songs filled with classical, hip-hop and electronic rhythms all rolled into one. She even showcases her operatic voice in the song “Paradise”. Every song was meticulously orchestrated by Alicia; in her mind she pictured each song having its own meaning and unique quality. You’ll be sure to fall in love with romantic anthems such as “Somber” and “Heartbroken Dreams” and taking on an out of this world journey with songs like “The Chill” and “The Bells within”.
