West Hollywood A Buzz Over Who Will Take Home The Artists In Music Awards
Website: http://www.aimusicawards.com/ FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Hollywood, CA), January 6, 2013—The Artists In Music Awards (AIMA) Red Carpet Awards Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, February 7, 2013 on the Sunset Strip at the world famous Key Club in West Hollywood, CA. The show will be hosted by Hollywood personality Nic Creznic and will feature eight live performances by award nominees Ko-Lition, Cheating Daylight, Glitter Rose, Haster, Travis Royce, Mika Ben-Yami, Leave It To Us, and The Controversy. Guest hosts include Mark & Carol of Butterflies Radio, HR Cole of InDspotlight Radio, Playboy model Desiree Claire, and the actress/model Dustin Quick. “We are very excited to return to this legendary venue,” said Mikey Jayy, Executive Producer of the Artists In Music Awards. “The Key Club stage is better, the sound is better, and the total experience is…well, just better.” Given that the AIMA awards ceremony is occurring during the same weekend as the Grammys, it is expected to present a nice list of performers. Indeed, the AIMA red carpet nomination show at the Whisky A Go-Go, held back in December, revealed a competitive line-up of artists. “When do you ever see eight fantastic performances in one night?” asked host Nic Creznic, referring to the Whisky event. Within the city, performers, music industry professionals, local celebrities, and the media are already talking about the event and speculating on which 26 of the 130 final nominees will win the coveted AIMA trophy. “I think this is an exciting time for independent music, especially here within the city of West Hollywood. The Artists In Music Awards is really putting itself in the spotlight alongside the Grammys this February. I suspect that many independent artists will get excellent publicity at the awards ceremony and further advance their careers. It will also be very interesting to see who will ultimately capture the awards, especially among those artists who have performed on stage at the AIMA before,” said John Carvalho, an advocate for the arts, music and entertainment in West Hollywood. So who will win? That is a burning question that industry experts and excited fans are guessing over, but for which nobody has the answer. Executive Producer Mikey Jayy isn’t letting the cat out of the bag either. “You will just have to wait until the final announcements are made at our awards ceremony,” he jokes, keeping the suspense going until this February.
