BennFranK Scores Big In 2012 With "BFK" & Setting New Records In 2013!
Music: http://www.emusic.com/samples/m3u/song/13712228/37499163.m3u BennFranK Scores Big in 2012 with "BFK" & Setting New Records in 2013! 2012 was quite a year for Long Island, NY hip-hop artist BennFranK. In the world of radio "BFK" (Fuzion Records) topped the Weighted and the Unweighted CRC Hip-Hop charts at #1 for multiple weeks during 2012 while keeping a firm grip on the CMJ Hip-Hop Top 40 Airplay charts at #18. The boy from Bong Island also scored a hat trick and held on to with the CMJ Hip-Hop Add charts for 3 weeks. BennFranK climbed up the CRC National Unweighted Top 30 chart to #190 and the Weighted Top 30 to #212. Through his promotion and marketing reps at Mia Mind Music BennFranK signed a digital distribution deal with Select-O-Hits Distribution, Inc. in 2012 for "BFK". The tracks and album have been enjoying steady sales numbers through the past year and projections indicate that those numbers should multiply as 2013 moves on. Rumor has it that Select-O-Hits Distribution, Inc. would now like to make "BFK" available in brick-&-mortar record stores throughout the USA. In the press world Hot Indie News published a rave review about BennFranK's CD (http://www.hotindienews.com/2012/12/17/1036158). Staff writer, Ralph White, wrote, "The 9 tracks on the record are not the common club bangers that rappers usually release. They're more like abstract, cubist paintings that fracture reality. In fact, listening to "BFK" from beginning to end is akin to some kind of acid trip. Unclear images of the artist appear, and then disappear, in his music. At times, it's almost as if BennFranK momentarily materializes only to whisper mystic messages in your ear before dissolving into the ether of your mind's upper regions yet again. It is sound shattered, then diffracted and filtered through a psychedelic prism that you hear with more than just aural organs." To start off 2013 WWS Magazine has confirmed the publication of an interview they conducted with BennFranK (http://wwsmag.com/updates/). Music Emissions has also promised they'll be running a "BFK" record review in early January (http://www.musicemissions.com).
