Pure Brings 'Jongo', The World's First Family Of Affordable Multiroom Audio Products To North America

The Jongo multiroom audio system delivers on both counts with an affordable, simple and lovely way to control and stream synchronized audio," said Noam Meppen, Pure's director of sales, US. The Pure Jongo multiroom music system: The Jongo system offers users the choice to stream audio content via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Bluetooth allows users to stream content from any audio app on their smartphone or tablet, including locally stored music, to a single Jongo product. Using Wi-Fi along with the free Pure Connect app, users can get the additional benefit of listening to multiple, tightly synchronised Jongo products in a single room or in a multiroom environment. The new Pure Connect app gives users access to local music on their smartphone or tablet, thousands of radio stations, on-demand programs and podcasts, as well as millions of music tracks via the Pure Music subscription service*. Users can simply add extra Jongo speakers or adapters on the same Wi-Fi network to build their multiroom system. In addition, compatible Pure products such as Sensia 200D Connect and One Flow can seamlessly synchronize with members of the Jongo family and can even be used to control the system for a truly class leading multispeaker and multiroom experience. Launching at CES – Jongo S340B: The Pure Jongo S340B portable, rechargeable wireless speaker ($229 MSRP) can be used on its own or grouped together with other Jongo speakers to deliver the most affordable multiroom audio system on the market today. Jongo products use Wi-Fi to stream audio within a single or multiroom environment. Bluetooth is included for more informal, one-to-one streaming which is ideal for use in the garden or for sharing the fun with friends. The perfect addition to any social gathering, Jongo S340B can really 'get the party started!' The Pure Jongo S340B offers rich, detailed and vibrant sound despite its pint-sized proportions and comes with four tweeters, and an upward-firing subwoofer for powerful bass. Thanks to its five speakers and individual power amplifiers, Jongo delivers surprisingly punchy audio and with a simple press of the "audio" button on the rear of the unit, the user can select flexible audio profiles to make the most of any environment including 360° sound for community listening (stereo or mono); forward facing stereo or outdoor boost. A rechargeable battery pack is included as standard and provides up to 10 hours of listening per charge.
