Alternative Pop Rock Acts, Cosmic Punch And 3PM Sign To Sunset Records
Music: http://www.sunsetrecordings.com/ Sunset Records moves up and down the east coast to sign two alternative rock acts this week; 3PM from Maryland and Cosmic Punch from Delaware. Sunset (Records) signed Baltimore, Maryland based alternative rock act 3PM, along with the Newark, Delaware based neo psychedelic band Cosmic Punch, to their roster already this year. Cosmic Punch will release their debut album entitled Clay Pit Road, with the label setting up that release date on Tuesday, March 12th. 3PM heads back into the studio in Maryland later on this month (January) with plans to finish the full length CD by the end of February, for a late spring / early summertime release with Sunset (Records). If there is one, two punch for a youth movement happening at Sunset, these two bands are the poster children for it. Both bands induce a youthful edge with a very colorful feel and both bands showing of impeccable production in their rights, well beyond any youthful years. 3PM and Cosmic Punch are the latest of what are now 8 rock bands (Joe Atman, Down From Zero, Richtaste, House On The Hill, Federal Moguls, The Boy From Space) and one (1) Child's Artist (Susan Schwartz) signed to the eclectic and alternative music label at Sunset. The entertainment group is growing every year with the launch of the new S2e TV Network (28 shows) last year in 2012, and with the Film Division opening its doors this year in 2013. The S2e Book Publishing Company has 7 books in stores today, with a brand new book by acclaimed author and Sunset founder, Don Lichterman coming in the spring this year. The labels at Sunset are looking to sign more acts in every genre and in all formats but most of all, it plans to boost its Sunset Jazz (Recordings) artist roster early this year. Plus, Joe Atmans, critically acclaimed “It Took Th Village” is now in stores and the Party Series CD Collection (World party CD, Rockin Party CD!, Lounge Party CD, HipHop Party CD and Dance Party CD!) starts being released to stores all over the world, on Tuesday, January 22 with each of its FIVE (5) CD's coming out on simultaneous Tuesdays through February 19th. Sunset is looking to get its band on the road a lot more in 2013, as well as playing on a regular basis near each respective artists home towns.
