Showcasing Over 20 of Sundance 2013's Most Talented Musicians in an Intimate Setting to an Elite Group Of Celebrities, Actors, Directors, and Film & Music Industry Execs Voted "Top 10 Parties of Sundance" 2011 by Film.com (LOS ANGELES, CA; January 7, 2013) - Koffeehouse Music continues the tradition of hosting one of the most popular parties at Sundance, the "Koffeehouse Chateau," on Sunday, January 20, 2013. This intimate night of music takes place at a private residence and showcases over 20 of Sundance's most talented musicians. Voted "Top 10 parties at Sundance 2011" by Film.com, Koffeehouse Chateau is the largest evening of independent music conducted during the Sundance Film Festival, and has in the past, featured performances by multi-platinum and Grammy®- nominated artists and an exclusive guest list of celebrities, actors, directors and film and music industry professionals. This year's performers include Crystal Bowersox (American Idol), Angel Taylor, Moi Navarro, Elizaveta and many more. Previous Koffeehouse Chateau performers include artists Matt Scannell of Vertical Horizon, Ed Roland & Will Turpin of Collective Soul, Tyler Hilton (co-star Walk The Line, One Tree Hill), Sara Haze (Universal), Thomas Ian Nicholas (co-star, American Pie), Mason Musso(frontman, Metro Station), Tim Myers (formerly OneRepublic), Adam Gaynor (formerly Matchbox 20) and The Kin (Interscope) to name a few. Katharine Rutt, from Sundance Festival After Dark series on Park City Television, said "I've been covering the Sundance Film Festival now for 14 years and have attended hundreds of events. The Koffeehouse Chateau event (2011) was without question the best live music experience I've attended during all my Sundance years." "The Sundance Film Festival started over 30 years ago as a place to bring independent filmmakers together and have them heard," says Koffeehouse founder Jeremy Koff. "Koffeehouse Music shares the same spirit of providing a voice to independent artists -- in this case musicians -- to be heard by industry." Now in its fourth year, the "Koffeehouse Chateau" will play host to over 250 celebrities, musicians, film and music industry executives, and passionate music lovers at a private Park City chateau. The evening will also raise money to benefit music education, a cause very close to Koffeehouse. Other Koffeehouse events surrounding Sundance include numerous artists on Park City Television's "Morning Mountain Show" and multiple days of live music for the Fatali Gallery and Flanagan's Irish Pub on Main Street and private celebrity events and gifting suites.
