PETER BOWERS JOINS BLUE PIE PICTURES AND DJ CENTRAL TEAM AS SVP OF PRODUCTION AND NEW CONTENT FOR NORTH AMERICA
We are very pleased to announce that Peter Bowers has joined the DJ Central and Planet Blue Pictures Team as the senior vice President of Production and New Content for North America.
Peter began his career in entertainment as a recording artist and singer/songwriter fronting several prominent Pop and Rock acts for 10 years, touring nationally and learning the industry from the ground up. He has shared the stage with acts such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Hiatt and Dave Mason to name a few.
After several years on tour performing in some of the finest venues, Bowers launched an entertainment management company GX1, developing young acts as a major music promoter within Chicago’s music scene during the mid 90’s. The artists he represented found themselves in the company of such acts as Dave Mathews, Alanis Morrisette, Rusted Root, Maceo Parker, Jakob Dylan, and Widespread Panic.
Peter Bowers is also the President of VAST, LLC and Co-Founder of the DC3 Music Group, the leading indie producer and distributor of long-form Concert Films and Documentaries for the Music Industry. He brings 20 years of entertainment experience in music, film, television, media and marketing to the table.
