Universal Music Publishing Group Promotes Anthony Saragueta To Senior Vice President, Royalties (USA)

He is also a forward-thinking executive whose goal is to continually improve efficiency and service, so we can offer even greater value to our customers and business partners," said Michael Sammis.

"Anthony is dedicated, totally reliable and a stabilizing influence in perhaps the most challenging customer facing departments in our administrative organization. He has led a best-in-class US royalty team for many years. With Anthony's experience, expertise and leadership, UMPG will be able to design, build and implement hugely significant developments in the key areas of royalty and customer services. I welcome this important and well-deserved promotion for Anthony," said John Reston.

Mr. Saragueta will continue to work closely with UMPG's Global and US Administration teams as part of the company's ongoing commitment to providing its songwriters with industry-leading royalty services. He is responsible for overseeing the US Royalty department, which processes incoming and outgoing royalty payments for all of the UMPG companies, including Rondor Music and Universal Publishing Production Music, among many others. Mr. Saragueta also played a key role in the integration of MCA Music Publishing and PolyGram Music Publishing, as well as the integration of Rondor Music and BMG Music Publishing into UMPG.

Mr. Saragueta began his career with UMPG in 1988 (then MCA Music Publishing) and will mark his 25th year with the company in February.
