Moscow-born recording artist, singer and songwriter Marina V recently received the prestigious LA Music Critic Award for her single and music video, RUN.
“I am very excited to receive this award, considering the talent among the nominees. I am also very proud that my video showcases the beauty of Moscow, the amazing city where I grew up.”
The music video for RUN was filmed entirely in Marina’s hometown of Moscow, Russia. Directed and edited by St Petersburg-native Katya Tsyganova, the video shows both historic and modern sites of the Russian capital. The music video was recently featured on one of the largest networks in America, The Bite, exposing the video to millions of viewers.

Marina V is a Russian-American singer/pianist/songwriter with a "hauntingly beautiful" voice (L.A. Times) and "melodic and passionate music" (The Washington Post). She is a recent recipient of an award from Sir Bob Geldof for her song "You Make Me Beautiful".
Marina's music has appeared in films, TV shows, ads for products such as PEPSI, and games. She has also written several songs for NBC's long-running TV show, Days of Our Lives, even making a recent on-screen appearance.
