GALLO LIGHT UP "FUEGO" U.S. TOUR

Los Angeles-based GALLO [pronounced Gah-yo] will ignite their "Fuego" U.S. tour beginning on February 1, at Club California in Denver, CO, and wrapping up on March 31 in San Antonio, TX [Venue TBA]. The two-month jaunt will see the group play in major markets across the country, as well as Puerto Rico for the first time, in support of its incendiary and infectious trifecta of new albums: the all-English PHOENIX RISING, all-Spanish FUEGO, both available February 5, as well as bilingual MAMAWE, available on February 15, all available through Jomi Records. PHOENIX RISING encompasses a richly diverse, avant-garde collection of electro-pop and complex yet accessible hits. The first single off the all-English album is “The Red”. The band is breaking ground with this plethora of music, culling from a myriad of genres such as rock, Latin, funk, world music, and more. Coming from the unanimously celebrated and award-winning rock outfit Monte Negro, brothers Kinski and Rodax Gallo envisioned this new project as the ultimate sonic cross-section of cultures and styles. After almost 10 years of delivering music geared towards alternative audiences around the world, Kinski and Rodax decided to form Gallo in 2012 to pay homage to their many defining influences, ranging from electronica and pop to disco and punk rock. Kinski and Rodax are seasoned veterans of the international music scene. When touring with their rock band, Monte Negro, which released their major label debut album, Cicatrix, in 2008 via Epic Records, a self-released EP, Fugitives of Pleasure / Pasajeros, in 2009, and Cosmic Twins in 2010, they shared the stage with a variety of mega-acts ranging from Gwen Stefani and Nine Inch Nails to Café Tacuba, Zoé and Enanitos Verdes. GALLO's flame begins to rise on February 1. Be sure to catch them on tour.
