Livin' It Up In 2013...

Well it’s 2013 already and amongst the millions of new years resolutions made I decided that my music career would take a very different path.

It was time for a reality check and a good emotional clean out, so we culled 60% of my online music catalogue and in December 2012 set about writing some very fresh material.

The end result is ‘Livin’ It Up’ an 11 track album with accompanying booklet that gives a bit of background to the new music and what I’ve been up to for the past two years since my last album was released.

Things are certainly different this year. I’m leaving all the bad advice I had in the past well behind me and taking on all of my own PR in more of a blogging style, which is an easier and more direct form of communication.

So… ‘Livin’ It Up’ has a freshness I thought I’d lost after all the instrumental work I had done over the years and a lot of positive energies.

The title track has a ‘live’ feel about it and leads nicely into ‘Wannabe Tonight’, which is my take on a few people I have known.

‘Mind Soul and Body’ is ‘deep’ but it works and even has a nice old wizard doing a cameo half way through.
