The Thirstbusters Debut On Primetime Series "90210"
Website: http://www.thethirstbusters.com THE THIRSTBUSTERS TO PERFORM “BAD BAD GIRL” ON THE HIT CW NETWORK PRIMETIME SHOW 90210 – Monday, February 18th - 9pm EST The Pop Rock Feel –Good Band Will Also Premiere New Video Bad Bad Girl on Tuesday, February 19th Nationwide Los Angeles, California...February 12, 2013....Take a bit of Coldplay, add some Dave Matthews with a hint of Maroon 5 and you have the extremely talented and much talked about new breakout band, “The Thirstbusters.” With critical acclaim following every new release and fans clamoring to get more of their music, the highly addictive band The Thirstbusters will perform their newest single, “Bad Bad Girl” on the hit CW Network primetime series “90210” on Monday, February 18th at 9pm EST/8pm CST. (Check local listings). The young California band consists of Ryan Thomas (guitar), Zach Sorgen (vocals and keys), Chase Jackson (bass) and Forrest Mitchell (drums). The band’s sound is described as melodic, jazz infused pop evoking a richness and depth despite the bands youth. They’ve managed to meld their roots perfectly with pop/rock and continue to push the boundaries that more mature bands are capable of doing. In their few years together they have scored a deal with Disney who quickly snapped up their “So There” video for the Disney XD Channel, released their rendition of “Deck the Halls” from the TNT drama mystery of the same name, won First Place in the national College Battle of the Bands & Elfenworks songwriting competition for Social Justice with the single “Finders Keepers” and found themselves the subject of glowing Morton Report interview which noted that they were excited to share some music from the “compelling and haunting” band. Other accolades include their two sophomore releases “Good Things” and “Never Let You Go” being featured on the soundtrack of “Smooch” (Hallmark Channel), “Tomorrow’s Saturday” and “Good Things” premiered exclusively on Cambio and the band was selected from thousands of Bandcamp music artists to be part of Bandcamp’s inaugural licensing deal. The new music video for “Bad Bad Girl” which officially premieres with its national release on Tuesday, February 19th, takes on the feeling of a short film when an evil megalomaniac plots to kidnap The Thirstbusters until a mysterious femme fatale – aka a Bad Bad Girl – intervenes to help save the day. The video was filmed in and around San Francisco with the club scene being filmed at Hotel Shattuck in Berkeley and the opening intro scene being shot at The Berkeley City Club Hotel. The airplane scene took place around and above San Francisco. The series stars Shenae Grimes as Annie Wilson, Tristan Wilds as Dixon Wilson, AnnaLynne McCord as Naomi Clark, Jessica Stroup as Silver, Michael Steger as Navid Shirazi, Jessica Lowndes as Adrianna Tate-Duncan and Matt Lanter as Liam Court.
