It's A Busy Lunar New Year For ALFA
Whether you exclaim "Gong Xi Fa Cai!", "Gong Hay Fat Choy!", "Maligayang Bagong Taon!" or just good ol' "Happy Chinese New Year!" there's no doubt that the kickoff of the lunar New Year has been great for Alfa. Albeit, a very, very busy one. After flying in from Minneapolis, MN to Los Angeles, CA, last Sunday morning she had a quick cup of tea, then picked up her guitar and headed over to play a sweet set of songs for her fans at the Tet Festival in Orange County that very same afternoon. Later that night she released "Blue", her latest video, and one that many may call the best anti-Valentine's Day video of all time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zg8C46e2uHU Alfa is a triple threat: singer, songwriter, and road warrior. She sings from her soul, writes from her heart and tours relentlessly (if you don't believe me then just check out her spring 2013 tour itinerary at http://www.alfa-music.com). Smart lyrics, catchy melodies and a raspy voice, that when combined has been dubbed "hydraulics for the heart". Her 5th album, "World Go Blue" (released on January 29th, 2013 on ButterCupJones Records) takes you along on her journey from the Philippines to NY/NJ to Los Angeles, CA.
