(Nashville, TN - Feb 14, 2013) Country Radio Seminar has added “Country Comes To New York – A Conversation With Lew Dickey” to its agenda of educational panels and workshops for CRS 2013. The panel is set for Thursday, Feb. 28th, 2013 from 11:00 - 11:50 a.m. in room 208 of the Nashville Convention Center.

Veteran music industry journalist Phyllis Stark and Country Aircheck’s RJ Curtis will lead the discussion with CEO and Chairman of Cumulus Media, Lew Dickey. He will cover the recent re-launch of the Country station in New York City as well as the plan and implications for the country genre after a decade of absence from the Big Apple. Other items to be covered include a discussion of the new NASH brand and the company’s overall commitment to the Country format.

According to CRS Executive Director Bill Mayne, “CRS prides itself in bringing headline grabbing agenda items to our event. The re-introduction of country music in New York has been a hot topic within the country music circle and we are excited to bring added insight into the conversation.”

Friday, Feb. 15 is the deadline to purchase $499 regular rate registrations for CRS 2013, held Feb. 27-Mar. 1. The on-site rate of $599 will take effect Feb. 16th. In addition, the $99 unemployment rate will also expire and no longer be available.
