The Thirstbusters Release New Music Video "Bad Bad Girl" After "90210" Show Appearance

ON THE HEELS OF THEIR DEBUT APPEARANCE ON CW NETWORK’S “90210” THE THIRSTBUSTERS RELEASE OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR “BAD BAD GIRL” NATIONALLY ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19

Los Angeles, California...February 19, 2013....The Thirstbusters, the pop/rock band who has jumped into the music scene with thousands of fans, critical acclaim and a debut for their new single “Bad Bad Girl” on last night’s primetime series “90210” on the CW Network, releases their new music video nationally today, February 19th, 2013. The new music video for “Bad Bad Girl” takes on the feeling of a short film when an evil megalomaniac plots to kidnap The Thirstbusters until a mysterious femme fatale – aka a Bad Bad Girl – intervenes to help save the day. The video was filmed in and around San Francisco with the club scene being filmed at Hotel Shattuck in Berkeley and the opening intro scene being shot at The Berkeley City Club Hotel. The airplane scene took place around and above San Francisco.

This week the band heads to Chicago and New York for several media appearances and performances then back to Los Angeles.

The young California band consists of Ryan Thomas (guitar), Zach Sorgen (vocals and keys), Chase Jackson (bass) and Forrest Mitchell (drums). The band’s sound is described as melodic, jazz infused pop evoking a richness and depth despite the bands youth. They’ve managed to meld their roots perfectly with pop/rock and continue to push the boundaries that more mature bands are capable of doing. In their few years together they have scored a deal with Disney who quickly snapped up their “So There” video for the Disney XD Channel, released their rendition of “Deck the Halls” from the TNT drama mystery of the same name, won First Place in the national College Battle of the Bands & Elfenworks songwriting competition for Social Justice with the single “Finders Keepers” and found themselves the subject of glowing Morton Report interview which noted that they were excited to share some music from the “compelling and haunting” band. Other accolades include their two sophomore releases “Good Things” and “Never Let You Go” being featured on the soundtrack of “Smooch” (Hallmark Channel), “Tomorrow’s Saturday” and “Good Things” premiered exclusively on Cambio and the band was selected from thousands of Bandcamp music artists to be part of Bandcamp’s inaugural licensing deal.
