"The Night Before" is the second song to be released by The Mascaron from their forthcoming debut EP due out in spring. "The Night Before" includes a modern metal sound by nature and a layering of sophisticated guitar riffs and harmonious melodies. The song delves into the sinister side of the human personality. This second important innovation by the band allows the group to warm up for supporting one of Russias on-trend modern metal bands The Korea when they play 2 shows in Latvia as part of their 2013 European Tour. The Mascaron band members commented that with recent advancements in the band and with their work on the forthcoming debut EP, the opportunity of supporting The Korea is an emotional and very important opportunity for both bands development for the long-term.
The Mascaron are a Latvian and British melodic progressive metal band, founded in 2012. Currently, The Mascaron consists of five experienced musicians Phil Owen (vocals), Arturs Berzins (bass), Gints Grinbergs (guitar), Ivars Kalnins (guitar) and Inga Lavrena (synthesizer & electronics), who co-create and produce the music. The Mascaron is the concept and vision of these creative personalities combined.
