ROCK BAND HIP KITTY ANNOUNCES CHANGE OF DIRECTION & HIGHER PURPOSE IN MUSIC CAREER
On Friday, February 22nd the nationally known rock outfit Hip Kitty released a message to their fans through social networking site Facebook stating they will be taking a change of course with their music career. The band will create their upcoming record with the help of “Kickstarter” (a funding platform for creative projects) and leave their future in the hands of their fans. Hip Kitty will press forward in 2013 on a new path to success! Below is Hip Kitty’s official announcement to their fans: “To our HIP KITTY Family, Friends and FANS! It is with great excitement that we are announcing a new direction and higher purpose in our music career. As performers we have never hidden the fact that we are all firm believers in the saving power of Christ, but then again we have never really advertised ourselves as such. This is not a decision that has come overnight or one we take lightly. This is really more of a realization that this is where we are supposed to be, and this is what we are meant to do with our music. I think we can all agree the world is changing in ways that many of us don’t understand. Now is a time to stand firm in our faith and let our music be known for something bigger than we ever could be. Let us be clear… the sound, look, and loud, raw energy of HIP KITTY will continue to be the same. There will still be tours, there will still be stadiums, and TOGETHER we will make the best album of 2013! Within the next few days we will be releasing information on our sites about a Kickstarter for the next record. We are leaving our future and the future of HIP KITTY in the hands of our fans.
