IAMEVE is one woman powerhouse. She has created an original concept utilizing synth-pop flare and deeply haunting melodies as she embarks on a quest toward balance and self discovery. Filled with synths, percussion and layered vocals, IAMEVE capitalizes on all production capabilities while showcasing her lyric and vocal-heavy talents. Songs from The Everything Nothing: ACT I have been featured on ABC’s The Lying Game, profiled in LA Weekly and lovingly spoofed by friend Fred Armisen, on his TV series Portlandia. She has shared the stage with Moby, Semi Precious Weapons, Matt Caws of Nada Surf, DJ Spooky, and has her music in over 100 Television and Film placements.
The Everything Nothing, her debut album, is a three act experience in which IAMEVE takes the listener through a mesmerizing musical journey, exploring the rise, fall and rebirth of the albums heroin, Eve Ami. Ex¬pressed through various experimental sounds, powerful lyrics and synth-pop beats, IAMEVE’s self-written concept is darkly melodic and wonderfully imaginative.
ACT 1 explores feelings of loss, com¬placency and self destruction, fueled by temptations and “traps.”
ACT 2 finds Eve Ami exploring past experiences and searching for love and growth.
ACT 3 that we accompany EVE as she finds purpose and balance and her world unfolds.
