The party takes place at The Soho Lounge in Austin, Texas on Saturday, March 16th between 12-5:30pm and features an exceptional line-up including Jesca Hoop, Seth Glier, A Fragile Tomorrow, Rachael Sage, A House for Lions, Melissa Ferrick and The Balconies. Sponsored by M Music & Musicians Magazine, Blurt Magazine, Planetary Group and The Deli Magazine, this event is open to the public; entry, food and drinks are free. This event is not only the label's 7th Official Day Party, which continues to feature artists from MPress Records' New Arrivals charity compilation series, but it is an official Austin CD release party and industry launch for two amazing new albums and a vinyl release! Our own 2012 Grammy Nominee Seth Glier celebrates the release of his new CD, "Things I Should Let You Know" (Jan 2013), featured on Daytrotter, Paste, AOL Music and USA Today. Melissa Ferrick's forthcoming "the truth is' (June 2013), will be showcased for its industry launch, featuring her exciting new Americana/Alt-Country sound fortified by her full band. Both artists make their Austin, TX debuts of their newest material here, not to be missed! Rachael Sage will also be celebrating the worldwide release of her critically acclaimed milestone 10th album "Haunted By You", just reissued on vinyl. Performing with her band The Sequins, Rachael will also be offering a sneak peek/download of the video for her latest single "California'.  This year's line-up includes: MPress Records flagship artist & three-time Independent Music Award Winner Rachael Sage; 2012 Grammy Nominee & Autism Speaks spokesman, Seth Glier; six-time Boston Music Award winner & Billboard charting Melissa Ferrick; A Fragile Tomorrow, power-pop 4-piece band of brothers including identical twin brothers, Sean and Dom Kelly, whose musicianship has earned them fans in high places including The Indigo Girls, K's Choice and The Bangles; and A House For Lions, whose music has garnered rave reviews from LA Times, Billboard, and NPR, establishing them as one of LA's most promising young bands. Jesca Hoop, hand picked to perform with the likes of Peter Gabriel, Eels, Andrew Bird, Shearwater, Elbow and praised by Tom Waits, showcases her California by way of Manchester (UK), singer-songwriter style full of moody melodies and haunting lyrics.
