BLOWSIGHT Release “making Of” Mini-documentary For ‘This Pain’ Music Video

The “making of” mini-documentary may be watched at this location. Blowsight recently released the music video for their latest single, ‘This Pain’ directed by Tim Aßmann @ Visionary Moments in Burscheild, Germany. The song for the video is taken from the band’s up-coming full length album entitled Life & Death, which will be released in North America on April 9, 2013 by Eclipse Records (Mushroomhead, Bobaflex, Scum of the Earth). The official music video for This Pain may be watched at this location. “We had a great time with the film crew and it all just took one day” states singer Nick Red. It was on my birthday, and the wonderful little girl from the video ran in while I was getting my makeup on, smiled and said ‘Happy Birthday’, then ran away... cutest thing ever. My beloved manager Jenny also got me a steel-string guitar so she could hear me play ‘Mama Said’ [Metallica] and ‘Stare Too Long’ [Corrosion Of Conformity] while we’re on tour.” Singer Nick Red continues, “I remember the town where we did the shoot was real isolated so we had the privacy we needed to make the video the way we wanted- complex, yet simple. It was so weird though… I was taking a whizz just before we shot the corn field scenes, I looked over at the highway, and underneath a bridge, someone spray painted "You'll be given love/You'll be taken care of", which is from a song by Björk called "All Is Full Of Love". The first tattoo I ever did was a homage to Björk, with the lyrics "All Is Full Of Love" on my right arm. Seeing this in the middle of nowhere, even a non-believer like me got goose bumps!” Eclipse Records will be releasing Life & Death in North America on April 9, 2013.
