4Music To Air New 3DD's London Live Series In New Partnership
Box TV will broadcast the new series of the successful music TV show, London Live. Airing on 4Music from March 2013, the 26-part series will feature some of the world's hottest established and emerging music stars including Harlem rap star, A$AP Rocky, pop starlet Carly Rae Jepson and Welsh rockers Bullet For My Valentine. Each half hour show includes live performances as well as each artist telling their story in an in-depth interview. Previously London Live has featured global megastars such as Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry. Dave Young, director of programming at Box TV said: "We're really excited about this partnership. Like Box TV, 3DD are a company who are hugely committed to delivering quality platforms for UK and international artist performances and great access for music fans. London Live's continued success is a testament to that. The shows are already shaping up with a diverse range of talent from Carly Rae Jepson to A$AP Rocky, but we're also looking forward to greatly extending the programming we can build from the London Live shoot days and taking that across the Box channels from 4Music to Kiss, Kerrang! and beyond. Ultimately, we think we've got a great new offering for the labels here and look forward to discussing it." 3DD executive producer, Dominic Saville said: "I am very happy to have found a new home in the UK for our flagship music series. London Live continuing on a free viewing platform is very important for the series and the record companies who have supported and enjoyed the series since it began eight years ago. We're proud to work with Box TV for this new chapter of London Live." Jess Eldridge, series producer of London Live said: "What is really exciting about the next series of London Live is that we are able to maximise time with talent during filming to create further promotional opportunities with Box TV. If an artist features on London Live, we will also look at what other features they can do across Box TV's seven digital channels and online properties – it really is an exciting evolution for labels in a time with artist availability is limited."
