Singer Katelyn McCarter Has Double Exposure Day
The London based internet magazine Pop Culturez published an interview with Katelyn early Friday morning which made her one of the few if not the first Christian artist the magazine had done a profile story on. “This is so exciting” said Katelyn about the London magazine interview. A bit later in the day, an interview with the Oakland Examiner’s David Moore was published making it a double exposure Friday for McCarter. The multi-talented McCarter, (she sings, dances, plays the piano and guitar) is the flagship recording artist of Kansas City, MO based indie Christian label, Dreamin’ Out Loud Entertainment and makes her home in Petersburg, VA. Katelyn is not only a musician but models and acts as well. She has been featured in an Eye-Max Mascara commercial. Still ahead for Katelyn are many radio interviews with an upcoming interview in another week or sowith Minister Roderick Fowler, host of the Chicago radio talk show “The True Gospel of Christ”. Katelyn, who just recently graduated with a music degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, stays busy as a vocal teacher instructor, leading her church in song, weekend gigs and also as she listens to material in hopes of finding the perfect songs for her first full length cd project with Dreamin’ Out Loud Entertainment. “I am still going through songs and picking out the ones that are right for me! It is an exciting but kind of hard process! I still have a lot to do until we start recording but I am looking forward to my album!” says Katelyn in her interview with David Moore of the Oakland Examiner.
