DSLR Video Revolution Is Now 5 Years

September 2013 for many marks the 5th year of the DSLR video revolution, with the application of HD video being made available on DSLR camera, offering the opportunity of an affordable interchangeable lens system for video production or filmmaking.

With camera brands like Canon, Nikon, Sony and Panasonic having been established as firm favourites with various music video promo producers and directors. Thanks to low cost high definition acquisition at affordable pricing, have made them a key part of the production process, as well as allowing new talent the chance to be able to showcase what they can offer.

Currently the team behind the DSLR Video Studio™ Handbook are conducting a DSLR usage survey amongst music video directors and producers, to see the extent of its use and production appeal afforded by these cameras.

Participants taking part will also receive a copy of an LED lighting report, which is another emerging technology mirroring the hybrid use of photo-video production.
