With musical influences like Loretta Lynn, Kitty Wells and Reba McEntire, there’s no denying that country recording artist Debbie Cochran is proving that her traditional roots are embedded in her music.

Her current single, Honky Tonk Yourself Right Out of Heaven, shows her inspirational and down-home persona, while showcasing her firm foundation for her traditional and inspirational ‘halo-country.’ While wrapping up several radio interviews and mailing out autograph CD copies in support of the single, she has been receiving great praise from radio and industry critics.

“It’s a fiddle and steel-soaked two-step. Country, country, country all the way.” – Robert K. Oermann, renowned music critic, Music Row Magazine

“Debbie Cochran’s latest single…finally! The sound of REAL country returns with this one. It has a sprinkle of fun phrases, accented by steel guitars, makin’ it a little ditty you can dance to!!” - Sheila Vest, Office Manager, WNKX-FM, Centerville, TN

“We actually listen to all the songs on CDX…Debbie’s good!” – Ron Moseley, Station Manager, WKUL-FM, Cullman, Alabama

“Debbie has that traditional country sound. It’s a bit retro; I like it and can’t wait to hear more!” – Joe Dunn, On-Air Personality for WAAZ-FM, Crestview, FL

“So far so good. The song is doing well for us at our station. We’ll keep playing it and let our listeners decide.” – Nathan Humbard, Music Director, WIKQ-FM, Greeneville, TN

Debbie traverses a path to fulfill her lifelong dream of being a recording artist and is proving that it’s never too late to pursue your childhood aspirations. This tune is off her album, The Greener Side of Life, which was produced by Grammy nominated Kent Wells (Dolly Parton). This “Helen Mirren meets Debbie Boone” performer is winning the hearts of radio stations and fans nationwide. Her previous release, It’s Never Too Late, received Music Row Magazine’s DisCovery Award from country tastemaker Robert K. Oermann. She is currently in the studio recording new material for an upcoming album. Her story and music spreads smiles and serves as a testament to the vitality of the human spirit. She lives her lyrics everyday by stepping in the studio, writing new songs and gracing the spotlight.
