MP3 STREAMING HITS PRIME TIME

Austin ClubCastLive.com

(Austin, TX) On August 28th, Austin-based Internet start-up WorldNet Box
Office brings MP3 streaming to prime time with the launch of Austin
ClubCastLive. Featuring live MP3 encoding of broadcasts from 15 of the
city's most popular nightclubs, the site is the first of its kind and will
likely quickly make ClubCastLive the largest MP3 simulcasting site on the
Web. The site will be accessible directly at http://www.clubcastlive.com as
well as through WNBO's entertainment portal at http://www.wnbo.com.

At the center of Austin ClubCastLive is Internet audio codec MP3, a
technology which, while surrounded by controversy, has nevertheless caught
fire in cyberspace. As of June, MP3 became the Internet's most popular
search topic. MP3 technology has become, according to the New York Times,
"part of the entertainment vocabulary almost as quickly as the name Lewinsky
became part of the political one."

By perfecting the real-time MP3 encoding of live audio, WNBO has moved to
the forefront of the MP3 revolution. Through the work of CTO Ryan
Vanderwerf, users can listen to real-time and archived streams at 24kbps
(for 28.8k modems), or CD-quality mono at 48kbps (for 56k modems), and
stereo CD-quality at 112kbps (for ISDN users and above). Notes Vanderwerf:
"It's a surprisingly elegant integration of currently available technology
with proprietary programming. We have a very flexible, low cost, stable,
and highly scalable operating environment."

Austin is a perfect platform for the launch of ClubCastLive. Often called
"The Live Music Capitol of the World", Austin boasts some 300 local bands
and each year hosts the widely-known South by Southwest (SXSW) Music and
Film Festival. Recently Austin was called America's "Most Wired City" by
Yahoo! Internet Life, and it is regularly termed one of America's best
places to live.

Although MP3 is the core of ClubCastLive, the Company will not be limited to
a single technology or type of venue. "Our mission is to provide our users
with Austin's highest quality music at the highest audio quality available,"
says President James Weiss. "WNBO will continue to form strategic alliances
with a variety of local content providers. Nightclubs are just the
beginning."

WNBO will roll out its ClubCast Live initiative in several cities across the
country over the following six months. As the technology improves, video
broadcasts will be included. In the immediate future, WNBO will provide
occasional special events with live video feeds, in partnership with several
of the leading companies in this arena. Founder Andrew Little: "It's an
exciting opportunity to offer new technology in one of the strongest
tech/music markets in the world."
