Introducing HNZ Sober Debu Single 'Future'

Bookmark and Share
Infulenced by established artists from a young age personally listening to Michael Jackson from the age of 5, karaoking his songs and re-acting his dance moves entertaining family members, Sober was showing signs from an early age exactly where his path would lead.

But growing up he found himself liking all genres of music listening to alot of pop & old school dance tracks (Rhythm is a dancer) was attracted to weird sounds which today shows elements of his music. As he got older a big inspiration was SoSolid Crew, Oxide & Neutrino, he started MCing to garage and house, playing on DJ friends sets writing and recordning his own lyrics, eventually perfoming on local pirate radio stations i.e FundamentalFM, and DelightFM.

Growing into his teen's 2pac was a big influence listening to rap, RnB and started slowing down his tempo of MCing, also at the time influenced by Eminem, 50cent etc this is when diversity was introduced to his skills, being able to MC fast aswell as slowing down his tempo to rap, at the time Sober recorded a couple mixtapes not officially released but was distributed on a street level and was a great time for Sober to exercise and showcase his talent.

Working through the years the music matured started writing songs instead of just verses, and Sober started to understand songwriting and how to layout a song, not an expert at singing but Sober would write songs suitable for singers, hoping and knowing that 1 day he could execute the songs himself when his mind grew broader and more productive so it shows a massive increase in his knowledge of music.

After performing at alot of events, i.e Urban Music Awards, Official european charts show, and loads more, songs played on radio i.e dejavu, Bang radio and more, and also video on TV i.e ChannelAKA, FlavaTV and more, also shotlisted for MTVs brand new for 2014 for 2nd year in a row voting is now open with link below to vote.

Sober is now working on his commercial EP due for release early next year, releasing singles in the process, theres alot more to come so stay tuned and take notice.
