Copyright Society Of The South Elects New Board Members
NASHVILLE, TN – January 7, 2014 – The Copyright Society of the South has elected a new Board of Directors for the 2014 term. The Board is comprised of music publishers, attorneys, administrators and performing rights representatives. In addition to the officers elected, three (3) new member’s: Karl Braun (Hall Booth Smith, P.C.), Wendi Crosby (Major Bob Music) and Denise Stevens (Loeb & Loeb) were elected to the board in December by CSOS’s membership. Janice Jackson (Travellers Hollow Music LLC), will begin her 8th year tenure as Administrative Director.

About the Copyright Society of the South
The Copyright Society of the South was formed in 1988, in Nashville, Tennessee, consisting of music publishers, attorneys, business people and academians interested in the field of copyright law. Its mission is to provide a forum for study and discussion of domestic and international copyright law and other matters pertaining to the entertainment industry. It provides seminars, speakers, presentations, and the opportunity to present various points of view on subjects of interest to the membership. The Society refrains from taking a lobbying role or endorsing or sponsoring political positions or candidates.
