Chris James, executive producer of AXS TV's Your Country, said "We love the way country music is heading. It's an open road for artists to be who they want to be. Artists can now be artists again. It's getting more raw and we like that harder edged sound. We've been following the growth of country rap over the years, and there's a really exciting scene out there. Moonshine Bandits is helping to lead that charge."
Commenting on the new single and video, Kent Terry, former Program Director, XM 11/Nashville Channel, stated “The new sound of 'California Country' was refreshing and I couldn’t stop listening.” Directed by Scott Hansen Productions and filmed in the band’s Central California stomping grounds, the new video depicts a wild afternoon at the lake with the “Shiner Nation” in full force.
From the opening track, "The Moon Shines," to "Throwdown," featuring The LACS, and "We All Country," featuring Colt Ford, American Idol finalist, Sarah Ross, and Charlie Farley, the new album promises to deliver a sonic experience like no other. Known for paving their own way musically and professionally, the Moonshine Bandits commented, "We don't conform to anyone’s perception of what "country" is supposed to look like. We don't follow dress codes and we damn sure don’t follow trends. This album is about us and our Shiner Nation Family, and a lifestyle that many can relate to."
