January 17, 2014 - Los Angeles, CA - Singer/songwriter Eric Bellinger is most notably known for being a hit maker behind the scenes for artists such as Chris Brown, Usher & more. Most recently, Eric has decided to step from behind the scenes to in front of the camera as a budding artist with his debut single "I Don't Want Her" featuring Problem (currently airing on 106 & Park). Although Eric's brand and awareness has grown to a national level, he's never forgotten the city of Compton, a place in which he calls home.

On his new freestyle record, Eric enlists best friend and Compton native I AM COMPTON to pay tribute to their city while remixing Drake's "Furthest Thing" record. The song in which they've appropriately re-titled to "On The Go" is a coming of age record where both artists reminisce on past experiences and the roads they've traveled to get where they are today. The record which is accompanied by a artistic black and white visual showcases both Eric Bellinger & I AM COMPTON while highlighting some of Compton's most famous landmarks. Currently Eric Bellinger is in the studio working on his next mixtape installment "The Rebirth" available on February 11th while I AM COMPTON is working on his debut album under Subliminal Entertainment with his first official single being "Money To Spend" coming soon.

###

ABOUT ERIC BELLINGER:
Los Angeles born and bred singer-songwriter Eric Bellinger's destiny preceded him. Grandson of Jackson 5 hit making songwriter Bobby Day (Rockin' Robin, Little Bitty Pretty One), Bellinger has been singing since he could speak. A successful Grammy Award Winning Singer, Songwriter, Vocal Producer and Engineer Eric Bellinger is an all star talent who continues to deliver thought provoking lyrics with beautiful melodies over lush harmonies.

ABOUT I AM COMPTON:
First came Eazy E, followed by The Game followed by Kendrick Lamar; all of whom are artists who've encompassed the spirit of Compton, California and represented for their city like none other. The newest inductee to be added to this list of hall of famers is none other than Compton bred emcee I AM COMPTON. Born and raised on the east side of Compton, California, Danny Kilpatrick aka I AM COMPTON used his talents as the driving force to defeat the unfortunate environment that surrounded him. Currently signed to Subliminal Entertainment, I AM COMPTON is working on his debut musical effort which will include his first official single "Money to Spend."
