(San Francisco, CA) -- Lakeshore Records has partnered with Dysonics to bring Dysonics Rondo technology, which delivers 5.1 surround sound in headphones via a stereo track, to the I, Frankenstein App. Listeners will hear the I, Frankenstein movie score in their headphones as the 5.1 mix was intended to be heard in the sweet spot of a movie theater.
To coincide with the opening of the I, Frankenstein film this week, the I, Frankenstein App can now be downloaded FOR FREE at http://bit.ly/IFrankApp. Available exclusively for iOS at the App Store.
With the Dysonics Rondo technology you listen to surround sound content you’d experience in a theater with great acoustics and the very best audio equipment - just by using your favorite pair of headphones. With Dysonics, you are always at the best seat in the house.
“We’ve seen a tremendous surge in headphone usage over the past few years and headphones are quickly becoming the listening standard, especially on mobile devices. Dysonics is focused on bringing the best possible listening experience to headphones and creating content specifically for headphone listening,” said Dysonics CTO Robert Dalton.
"We're incredibly excited to be working with Dysonics on expanding the reach of our music into exciting and new innovative areas for consumers to experience,” said Lakeshore Records’ Brian McNelis.
Dysonics was founded by an established audio research team including, UC Davis’ professor emeritus V. Ralph Algazi, professor Richard O. Duda, and Robert Dalton Jr. The Dysonics technology extends to a variety of markets, music, movies, gaming, virtual and augmented reality, and more.
