ESMA ON RISE TO STARDOM WITH “FALL BACK” VIDEO

For Immediate Release: January 28, 2014; Canadian singer, songwriter, and dancer ESMA is on the rise to stardom as she is set to release her “Fall Back” music video on February 1, 2014. “Fall Back”, her second single, has already begun to catch the attention of Canadian Top 40 radio. ESMA is shaking up urban pop music by creating a fresh sound through the infusion of her exotic roots.

Following in the footsteps of world-renowned talent, ESMA works with LA based marketing company A&R Worldwide, who has helped build careers of artists such as LMFAO, Coldplay, Avril Lavigne and Adele. With over eight years of vocal training, she has trained with celebrity vocal coach Ron Anderson (Alicia Key, Usher) and is working with international music producer Fingazz (Snoop Dogg, Karl Wolf).

ESMA has performed internationally and has opened for artists such as Jadakiss, JRDN, Danny Fernandes, Kos and is booked to open for Jay Sean’s Neon Tour on February 16th in Edmonton.

Landing a sync deal with Emmy Award winning company Bunim/Murray, her music has been featured in episodes of Oxygen Network’s Bad Girls Club. ESMA recently won Top 40 radio station Hot 107’s Hot Factor Competition with her song “Force of Nature,” and received 10K which has been invested into her recent single.

The Single “Fall Back” is based on anti-bullying, specifically cyber bullying, and is in association with The Amanda Todd Legacy Fund. After going through bullying as a child herself, ESMA wants to bring awareness to the growing problem and help those who are experiencing similar situations. Amanda Todd’s mother, Carol Todd, reached out to ESMA after a fan shared a news article with her about ESMA’s music video being inspired by Amanda Todd’s story. In her efforts to raise awareness, proceeds from the sale of the single will be donated to The Amanda Todd Legacy Fund.

ESMA brings forth an inspiring message to her fans based on female empowerment through freedom of expression, while withholding a positive representation of what women stand for all over the world.
