R&B Queen On The Scene, TaQuita Thorns Gives A Behind The Scenes Look At New Web Series

Los Angeles, CA - Music Connection Magazine’s Hot 100 Live Artist, TaQuita Thorns, is keeping her fans in the loop through her new web series launching February 1st. The segments, which can be watched on TaQuita’s YouTube channel, will include behind the scenes footage, exclusive performances, updates on her music career, and much more.

In her first episode, “The First On Orbit Year End Broadcast 2013” TaQuita recaps the highlights of 2013, gives a sneak peak as to what to expect in 2014, and even does a Q&A segment addressing questions from her fans. It also includes exclusive footage of a live performance of “The Ocean” at her Los Angeles premiere at The MINT. The footage captures her natural love for the ocean and her stellar performance skills. The emotions felt through her live performance and her soulful power-packed voice are sure to captivate audiences around the globe.

TaQuita Thorns was born with the natural charisma it takes to be a star. She was singing at family events at a young age, was the lead vocalist of her schools concert choir, became the captain of a dance company and represented some of the best dancers from Detroit’s high schools. She went on to study music as well as dance at Wayne State University. TaQuita auditioned and was casted in P. Diddy’s MTV Making the Band III, where she became a viewer favorite, mesmerizing people with her lively energy and natural talent. She went on to have her own spin off TV series on MTV, The TaQuita & Kaui Show.

Since The TaQuita & Kaui Show, TaQuita has continued to pursue her dreams. The pop singer-songwriter released her debut album, Rough&Fancy Vol. 1, exposing her artsy draws from real life struggles and her limitless energy, positivity, and love that fuels her creative talents. Her album was a journey through Detroit’s rich music heritage. Growing up surrounded by iconic artists helped her to create her unique sound. She’s influenced by the sounds of Little Richard, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, and Whitney Houston. TaQuita has performed at venues like the Blank Club, the Peacock Lounge and at the Las Vegas Pure House Music Festival.
