From Good Luck Charlie 100Th Episode To The Super Bowl... Bosshouse Music Scores Big In February

Composers Stephen R. Phillips and Tim P are kicking off February with a musical appearance at the Super Bowl and concluding the month with the 100th episode of the hit Disney Channel TV series, GOOD LUCK CHARLIE.

On February 2nd, an anticipated 100 million plus viewers world wide will watch Cleatus (the Fox Football robot) kick off the Super Bowl broadcast to music composed by Stephen and Tim. "As a lifelong football fan, it is an incredible honor to be entrusted to write the music to set the stage for Super Bowl XLVIII," said Phillips.

In addition to the music for the Super Bowl, Stephen & Tim wrote and recorded a full-length CD under their Alt Rock band's name THE POW POW. THE POW POW song "All In" was just featured in the Lifetime movie LIZZIE BORDEN TOOK AN AX, the premiere airing of which drew 4.4 million viewers, and several of their songs will appear throughout the fourth season of the hit SHOWTIME series SHAMELESS. Other POW POW songs have recently appeared in DEXTER, TRUE BLOOD, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS and a national ad campaign for Garnier Fructis Shampoo.

Since it's first episode aired in 2010, Stephen & Tim have been the composers for the Disney Channel series GOOD LUCK CHARLIE. The 100th, and final, episode of the series will air at the end of February. Tim described, "the most challenging part of the show was working with the cast on the many live musical numbers we did-but looking back, it was also the thing we'll miss most."

Composer/songwriters Stephen R. Phillips and Tim P. joined forces in early 2000 to create BossHouse Music, a unique and versatile composing and songwriting company catering to the ever-changing needs of film, television and new media. As composers, Stephen and Tim have scored such critically acclaimed series as RENO 911!, Lewis Black's ROOT OF ALL EVIL, and THE 4400 for which they earned a BMI award. They have gone on to write and record over 20 main title themes in addition to scoring over 300 episodes of comedy for network and cable television.

Their recent score credits include the hilarious new web series ROBIN BANKS & THE BANK ROBERTS created by FRIENDS alum Ted Cohen & Andrew Reich and produced by Warner Bros. 2.0 currently airing on Maker Studios comedy channel Nacho Punch as well as the documentary LORD SAVE US FROM YOUR FOLLOWERS, and the upcoming new dramady 15 NORTH which is slated for a Netflix release.
