Sylar Joins Razor & Tie's Worldwide Label Roster

Bookmark and Share

Razor & Tie announces the addition of the Sylar to its worldwide label roster. The band recently completed their forthcoming debut full length studio album, To Whom It May Concern, with producer Caleb Shomo (Attack Attack!, Beartooth). The album will be released this spring and Sylar will tour this year in support, dates to be announced soon.

Sylar's Jayden Panesso comments, "We are beyond excited to announce our signing with Razor & Tie. It honestly feels awesome to be part of such a prestigious label, and roster. Myself and every member of Sylar want to thank all the people who showed us support and helped us reach this milestone in our careers. With that being said; this is just the beginning, and we are very eager to release our debut full-length through Razor & Tie."

Razor & Tie A&R Executive Dylan Chenfeld adds, "I'm really thrilled to be bringing Sylar to the Razor & Tie family. From the second Caleb Shomo showed me the music, I've been passionate about it and we all love the record. We are really excited for what the future brings and to finally have a New York based heavy band."

Queens, NY based Sylar formed in 2012 and self-released one EP, Deadbeat, also produced by Caleb Shomo. Sylar has toured with Beartooth, Attack Attack!, Born Of Osiris, A Skylit Drive, and label mates Sworn In. Lead by the authoritative vocals of Jayden Panesso, Sylar deliver a metallic hardcore onslaught that pulsates with electro flourishes and the kinds of breakdowns that will have pit dwellers foaming at the mouth.

Sylar is Jayden Panesso (Vocals), Miguel Cardona (Vocals/Guitar), Dustin Jennings(Guitar), Travis Hufton (Bass), and Thomas Veroutis (Drums). The band is managed by Shawn Keith at Sumerian and booked by Amanda Fiore at The Pantheon Agency.

Sylar joins Razor & Tie at an exciting time in the label's history as R&T continues to nurture and expand its rock roster that currently includes both established rock radio acts like All That Remains and P.O.D., alongside such lifestyle acts as Attila, For Today, Chiodos, Hatebreed, The Sword, Norma Jean, Chelsea Grin, Sworn In, HIM, Such Gold, Protest The Hero, Kyng, and many more.
