‘A Thousand Years’ Tops List of Most Popular Love Songs Musicians Want to Play
MADISON, Wis. (February 10, 2014)— The hit song “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri and Adele’s “To Make You Feel My Love” were the top love songs musicians played in 2013, so will likely be among the favorite tunes performed this Valentine’s Day, according to a ranking of downloads by Musicnotes.com, the world’s top sheet music e-retailer and publisher.
Those songs ranked #1 and #2 respectively on the Top Ten List of the most popular sheet music downloads of love songs for the past year compiled by Musicnotes.com.
Coming in at #3 was Jason Mraz’s “I Won’t Give Up,” followed by Etta James’ classic song, “At Last” at #4, “Diamonds” by Rihanna at #5 and “Wanted” by Hunter Hayes at #6.
Rounding out Musicnotes.com’s Top Ten List of love songs are Pachelbel’s “Canon In D” at #7, “For Good” from the Broadway musical ‘Wicked’ at #8, “I See the Light,” from the Disney motion picture ‘Tangled’ at #9, and “Little Things” from One Direction at #10.
