R&B SENSATION BOY/FRIEND REVEALS "THEME SONG"

His Latest Single with a Joey Lawrence Inspired Video

Upcoming Shows in NYC and Las Vegas Next Week

"Sometimes the Music Gods bless you with a song that will rescue you from the depths of your crushing hangover. Boy/friend's "Theme Song" is one of those songs." -VICE Noisey

Boy/friend is back with "Theme Song," his latest single accompanied with a Joey Lawrence inspired visual plus new U.S. dates throughout February.

With lyrics like "I will always be your boy slash friend," the NYC-based R&B singer is "getting to the heart of his name" and "tackles the age-old dilemma of being friend zoned" according to ACCLAIM who premiered the MNTN-produced track.

To celebrate the launch of this single, Boy/friend synced "Theme Song's" audio over 90's heartthrob Joey Lawrence's music video for "Nothin' My Love Can't Fix," which is seemingly a perfect fit. VICE's Noisey exclusively premieres the visual, raving that "the whole effect is totes adorbs, and makes us want 2 type everything just lyke ~this~...꒰ღ˘‿˘ற꒱ ."

Throughout the 2014, Boy/friend will continue to play key dates, premiere a string of new singles, remixes and videos as well as release his sophomore effort later in the year. Boy/friend will open for Kid Sister at Glasslands in Brooklyn, NY on Wed. Feb. 12 (Purchase TICKETS). Then, he heads to Las Vegas, NV on Mon. Feb. 17 to open for DJ Cassidy at Tao inside the Venetian Hotel for the Liberty Fashion & Lifestyle Fairs trade show.
