Powerhouse vocalist, Yulianna, celebrates the return of the United States troops in her epic ballad, “Soldier.” The war in Afghanistan is the longest in the history of the United States, spanning a total of 13 years since special forces landed on foreign soil. The impact the war has had on soldiers, as well as their friends and family, is absolutely undeniable. To finally have loved ones back home and to embrace the opportunity to celebrate their bravery and dedication is at the forefront of many minds, including songwriter and performer Yulianna. With a flurry of success in 2013, including her single “Don’t Take Your Love Away” becoming one of Billboard’s top five tracks on the Breakout for Hot Dance Club Play chart and most added on DJ Times Dance Crossover chart (where it immediately shot to #1). Not to mention her collaboration with hip-hop superstar The Game on “Californ-i-a” and a critically acclaimed performance with Metaphase at the Coachella Music festival, Yulianna is taking her sound to the next level. Her groundbreaking mix of pop and opera that fills the melodic tracks on her upcoming release, “Popra” (the first of two EP releases this year) includes her signature dramatic storytelling and genre-defying infusions that have made her a rising star. Her compassion inspired her to tell the moving homecoming story found on her newest single, “Soldier,” which will be out as an advanced single off of her upcoming EP "Popra~Soldier" (part two) set for release this summer.

A vocally intense ballad, Yulianna infuses each note with frustration and yearning for a loved one that has been shipped off to war. In celebration of the troops coming home this year, the track itself is a dedicated tribute to the bravery and honor that each and every soldier possesses, not only when it comes to fighting for their country, but for each and every loved one back at home. A gentle yet rising piano-based track, Yulianna's voice truly carries the song through to it's uplifting climax, her powerhouse vocals providing a rush of emotional energy. It's a touching and intense ballad that plays to every one of Yulianna's strengths; her ability to write about a very real struggle that thousands face daily in authentic way and her steadfast dedication to emoting through each fluctuation of the melody. This soaring homage, "Soldier" will be available as a limited download beginning this Valentines Day, February 14th, 2014.
