The Hamptons Corporation And Reading, Penn. Educator Jason Weyandt To Launch Music Garden Management

THE HAMPTONS & READING, PA.- The Hamptons Corporation PRESIDENT/CEO Raymond A. Los is proud to announce the launch and addition of Music Garden Management to its family of labels!
MUSIC GARDEN MANAGEMENT is a management label spearheaded by special education teacher's assistant Jason Weyandt based in Reading, PA. dedicated to Artist Development and Music Business Education for artists ages 12-18. The label will be housed as a subsidiary under The Hamptons Corporation umbrella and Raymond Los will hold the title of Vice President/Chairman. He will also lend his 20 years of Artist Management experience as Dir. of Artist Management.
"Mr. Weyandt and I connected on the business professionals social network LinkedIn. He approached me with the idea of learning about artist management and eventually founding a label dedicated to developing talented youth. He mentioned he is always running into teens (and even younger kids) with so much talent musically that it drove him to want to do whatever he could to help them succeed & build their future with a career in music. After seeing many of my posts and reviewing my profile. he knew I was the guy to help him achieve his goal."
Most teens who hear about their favorite artist all over TV, radio, on stage and in the press are blinded by the end result of being " famous" and have this "I want to be like..." mentality. Most seem to think if they sound good they can get a big record deal or get on a singing competition show and become a star in a day. It's a MASSIVE misconception. They aren't educated with the knowledge and work ethic it takes to get there. Our job is to take the stars out of their eyes and replace them with a reality check of what it takes to really "make it" in the music business.
"I am excited about this opportunity to make a positive difference says PRESIDENT/CEO Jason Weyandt. "I believe that music and entertainment play a pivotal role in the guidance and education of our children. That being said, a responsibility lies therein. We have taken on the task of growing both the artist and the individual. Music Garden Management and Hamptons Corp care about their artist's well being, not just their career and we demonstrate this repeatedly. It is our duty and obligation to grow our youth's business mentality so they have a clear, realistic understanding about the music business. "
Music Garden Management has also developed a plan to donate 25% of the label's yearly proceeds to youth health related and youth in music arts related charities, including St. Judes Children's Hospital, United Way & Grammy In The Schools. We also plan to develop an advisory board consisting of a team of mentors including National Recording Artists, producers, songwriters & music teachers.
