Coventry born singer songwriter Verity Pabla, who has found international success through her performances in the distant lands of New Zealand and the demand for her mellow voice to be heard in the musical mecca that is Los Angeles, has now founded a brand new all female record label/management company called I’m not a machine music. The label was launched online on 1st December 2013 and is now set to have its’ first official gig featuring all four artists on the roster. The Dog in Hertford St, Coventry will play host to the live launch on Wednesday 5th March from 7pm. Entry is £2 and tickets are available on the door or to reserve email info@imnotamachinemusic.com with name and number of tickets required.

Featured on the new indie label are soulful vocalists and powerful performers, Cat Mctigue, Bella Deanie and Francesca Egan, as well as Verity herself. For over a decade Verity has been writing, recording and performing new acoustic music, and will soon be teaming up with LA producer, composer, arranger and leading saxophonist Donald Hayes. Memphis born Hayes is a big name in the USA, and has performed and recorded with the likes of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake. Whilst Verity’s ‘Road To Hollywood’ continues its’ path, and with a brand new download single released on 3rd February called ‘Recompense’; her international creative production house, I’m not a machine productions, have brought into the world the inspiring I’m not a machine music. Verity spoke recently:

“I’m really excited and proud to bring I’m not a machine music to the world. I had a great four years on the brilliant Si Hayden’s record label Silvery Records, and now is the time for me to give the opportunity to some incredible female artists who deserve the right platform for the music they create, and with the producers and musicians they wish to develop it with! I love the songwriting and voice of each artist on the label, and I can’t wait to share them with people in England at the live event on 5th March in Coventry. It’s going to be a very special evening!”

The Official Record Label Launch Party will also feature the DJ Mr Phat Choons and accomplished local musicians accompanying the singers. The night runs from 7pm through till 11pm and tickets are best reserved via email, to ensure entry.
