MTS Management Group and MTS Records would like to congratulate Amy Rose on her Number One New Music Weekly (NMW) Country Chart single, “Sunshine.” The single tops the chart for weekending February 28, 2014. “Sunshine” is Amy’s third consecutive Top 10 NMW single, and her first Number One. Released on Wild Rose/MTS Records, “Sunshine” is MTS’ second straight Number One NMW single.

“Thank you soooooo much Country music radio worldwide for giving this Canadian “Redneck” chick a chance to show the world what I was really put on this earth to do,” said Amy. “Cause we all know it wasn’t to cook… Hahahaha AND to the fans, for requesting the crappers out of the song. Y’all ROCK… #1 BABY!!!!!”

“This is incredible,” said Michael Stover, Amy’s manager and President of MTS Records. “We are blown away by the support that radio has shown our artists. Amy is so deserving of this honor. Like I said when we released this single, her vocal performance is the best that I’ve heard in a long time, easily the best this year. We are so proud of you, Amy! Enjoy the moment–many more to come!”

“Sunshine” is the third single from Amy’s forthcoming album release, The Beginning. It was written by Christopher Alan Young, Phil O’Donnell, and Tim James. Amy co-produced the track with After Tuesday Productions’ Marty Beecroft and Glen Coulson. They are the same team responsible for her first two singles, “I Just Want You To Know” (#9 NMW) and “(Redneck Reunion) Party Like A Redneck.” (#6 NMW)
